Dr SS Rao Road, Parel

Strikers and Zenda (flag)

It's easy to locate the popular carrom 'club' on the footpath near MD College. Just look out for large flags of MNS, NCP, SS and Congress. While the young men concentrate on the board, the flags, that are getting larger for the pass few year, lie limp on poles. The larger flags are those of the MNS and NCP. Both these parties try hard to win the hearts of the youngsters compared to the Shiv Sena which probably took its supporters for granted and stopped trying a long time back. There's a Congress flatoo trying to catch a breeze. Rahul Gandhi's also trying his luck from far away Dilli. And finally there's a new flag in town, from a new kid on the block. It's a flag with a worn out fist visual in a bright red, World War 2 - time Japanese flag style, pushing Narayan Rane's son youth outfit.

Meanwhile, in the carrom club, the games go on as usual. They will have their say on the Zenda show when it's time to vote. Jai Hind.

The low lights make the picture very interesting. Equally interesting write-up too.

This is the first time I am seeing a carrom club. Do you get drinks here?

Wonderful shots! I didn't know there were carrom clubs. I bought a board a few years back here in the US and really enjoy playing.
