Talaash! Which part of Mumbai do you want to see?

Narasimhan Mama Chowk (Hanuman Road)

Yum! The Patti Samosa outside Tilak Vidyalay, Vile Parle East. Patti Samosa is the Konkan and Deccan version of the Samosa which is flatter and crunchier. And these are supposed to be the best in Mumbai.

The food is served hot from a counter at the chowk but it's prepared in a kitchen in the adjoining housing society, across this wall. He's the one who brings in the piping hot delicacies.

Business is brisk in the evenings and anyone who has eaten on the streets of Vile Parle East would agree with me if I say that the street food is probably the best tasting in Mumbai.
