How many Polio Ravivars?

More energy to the women who go from door to door in remote areas to the ones we see in the local station, ready with their drops on Polio Sundays, and the weekdays following it.

According to Dr Ramani, writing from Chhattisgarh, where she works :
"We now have many more cases of vaccine induced polio compared to polio by wild-virus, though it is not reported. there are other issues involved; and this is pouring billions of rupees down the loo (literally, as the virus is excreted in the stool)."

So, it finally it comes down to our toilet habits. Our state, Maharashtra, is trying to become a 100% Open Defecation free state (or 100% defecation free state according to this Times of India report). Let's wait and see.
