Harbour Line

Work Space Mumbai: City Farmers.

Along Mumbai's local train tracks, irrigated by water that runs out from our homes are the fields tended by this city's farmers. Their favourite crop - greens.

Note: Siddharth Waghela informs that the land is given to farmers by the railways to prevent shanties from coming up too close to the railway tracks.

Well, even the cities are repetitive. Slowly disappearing are the days when each city and parts of cities had character. You can go anywhere and still go nowhere these days.
