Aarey Milk Colony + Western Express Highway

Aarey's Energee drink has a new flavour - Golden Sunrise.

Mumbai's brief winter makes the Aarey Milk Colony, that still sticks into the heart of the growing metropolis, look beautiful. That fog is partly fuelled by smoke from the dairy farms inside Colony.

Meanwhile, we are creeping in, one building at a time, into this oasis.

Beautiful beautiful pics. I can hardly believe it's Mumbai. Where do you manage to get all the angles from??

Your photographs are beautiful. Your blog is a lovely chronicle of a city where the pleasant and the unpleasant stand side by side. At times too close for comfort.

What the builders are doing to Aarey is brutal. And heartbreaking. Have you seen Royal Palms!

I am SO glad I found your blog!! Beautiful photos and I appreciate the fact that it covers the suburbs, too. I also enjoy the slight winter we have here, and Aarey is really beautiful then. Love how you have captured it!
