Encountered in Mumbai: Ibrahim from Pali, Rajasthan. He decorates trucks.

You will find Aam Artists like Ibrahim in places where trucks are parked or are waiting. Places like Cotton Green, APMCs and Ibrahim was walking from truck to truck onthe road leading to Chembur camp from Shivaji Statue where tankers waiting for delivery from BPCL wait.

That bouquet of flower is made by him and his asking price is Rs 100 each. He also sells stickers, reflectors and does sticker art. But he cannot read or write which means that he is not able to write messages on trucks.

Scroll down and you will see his plastic wrapper that is his purse with a copy of his Aadaar card and cards with numbers. He also does not carry a mobile phone. And Ibrahim's contact number is in Rajasthan. The number he had on a card was 9521631161.

Statues of Mumbai.

Chembur, like the rest of Mumbai is dotted with many villages that continue to live at a pace of its own. They usually come alive during festivals when the people take a pause from the Mumbai pace and say namaste to their neighbours.

I found these interesting statues on the roadside where the people of this locality collected money to feed a lot of poor people to commemorate their favourite godman, Sai Baba. They had a list of the people who had contributed too.
