Sheik Memon Street (Zaveri Bazaar)

This is one of the pictures I took of Rajendra Shah, a man who has been doing business in Zaveri Bazaar for decades and through the blasts. It accompanies "An ordinary man's guide to terorism" by Aastha Atray Banan in this week's Tehelka.

That's Mumba Devi Temple in the background. This city is named after her.

Mumba Devi Temple, Sheik Memon Street, Zaveri Bazaar and a Jain businessman. This place, this city is a melting pot.

P.S. looking for new adjectives to appreciate these images, I've begun to feel repetitive now..and its all your fault :)
