Talaash! Which part of Mumbai do you want to see?

Panchayatwadi

Mitha Bol - A linguistic map of Mumbai:  Panchayat Wadi, a Bengali street.

Tucked away in the super congested Bhuleshwar marlet area is a small street where Bengali and the dialects of the Eastern Gangetic plains is mostly spoken. These are a few images from there.

This is the entrance to the galli with a signboard in Gujarati. The lane peeps on to the busy market street opposite the Ram Mandir in Panjrapole famous for its goods and the placement is perfect. The best time to visit this market is before or during Navratri. It is the best market in Mumbai when it comes to goodies related to Navratri celebrations.
