The way you photograph a city changes according to the city you are in. While Mumbai is about people, Navi Mumbai tends to become about the city that was planned and built like this railway station in Turbhe.
The stations in Mumbai are very different from the ones in Mumbai or Thane section on the main line. They do not have stalls. They are designed by the best architects of the time and to their credit, the stations function far more smoother than the ones in Mumbai which grow organically. The numbers that use the stations do not seem to burden the station like the ill designed Mumbai ones.
