Mumbai wouldn't have been Bombay without the cotton trade, the American Civil War and the mills that came up soon after. If you are zooming down the newly built Lalbag flyover towards Dadar, look towards the west to see these buildings that are around of an old mill dwarfed by the flyover. The old city still survives in patches.
