The future of food.
Prerna Makhija had a beautiful story about the developments in upmarket restaurant business in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in Mint Lounge recently (Read it here). Riyaz Amlaani is one of the restaurateurs starring in that story. His restaurant chain, Smokehouse Deli in Bandra where I got a chance to shoot him is decorated with beautiful drawings that capture Bandra nostalgia. All Smokehouse Delis try are decorated according to the character of their location. Here are a few images from there. A very small part of the hundreds of little stories on their wall.
