Several Hindu castes are known to have caste panchayats. The Bombay Parsi Panchayat is also an organisation. And so do the Buddhists divided into Shakkas or branches. Here are the boards of two such Buddhist or Boudhajana Panchayats in Mumbai. One in Parel and the other in Deonar.
