In a slum off Ghodbandar Road in Thane is a temple built by people of Kerala origin. It is dedicated to Bhadrakali of Kodungalur (Cranganore) near Kochi, Kerala. These are pictures from the temple during a ceremony called Vidyarambham or the beginning of education.
After this ceremony, the children can commence formal education.
