Correct Food: Fish Fry Meal at Versova's Madh Jetty
It is a nameless restaurant run by a family that is not Koli that sells simple meals. We asked for smaller fish - Mandeli and Bombil. It was fried crisp and we had with rice and dal. The rice was the kind that is grown in the hills close to Mumbai and not the standard one. The dal was perfectly simple.
The meal was wholesome and fun even of the fish was fried in oil that was probably too hot. We didn't complain. We crunched. We munched.
