Artists Unite. 2/3/2019 Mumbai
An event that was held across India where artists came together to speak against hate. Here are a few images from the march from Reti Bandar to Carter Road. The agenda was confusing for the people watching the procession because the current news is about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the fight between India and Pakistan over Kashmir.
However, it was a an interesting walk and the crowd, colourful. The people of Mahim seemed more receptive of the message than the ones in upmarket Bandra. Me and my friend, Siddhartha Loknandi over heard a group of rich Bandraites who were thinking aloud that the event was sponsored by a political party and it was definitely Pappu (Rahul Gandhi) who is behind this walk.
