Navi Mumbai Airport Naming - The locals of Navi Mumbai - the bumiputras - recently protestested. They want to name the airport after DB Patil who was a popular leader who fought for their rights when Navi Mumbai and Panvel cities expanded and gobbled up this part of the Konkan.
